Volunteer With Us

Give a few hours a week, gain real classroom experience, and help Kent's first full-time Islamic school grow.

Work alongside our teachers

Support small groups and individual students in reading, math, Qur'an and more. Always under a teacher's supervision.

Gain experience

Students and graduates in education, Islamic studies or childcare build classroom hours and a reference. Many of our future teachers will come from our volunteers.

Serve the community

Help with events, fundraising, the library or the office if the classroom is not for you. Every hour counts.

Volunteer Application

Takes about five minutes. Volunteers must be 16 or older (16–17 with a parent's consent). Every volunteer completes a reference and background check before the first day; this is standard for anyone working with children and we cover the cost.

4. Experience and skills

5. References *

Two people who know your work with children or your character, not family members. We will contact them.

6. Disclosures

Answer honestly. A "yes" does not automatically exclude you, but a false answer does.

Have you ever been convicted of, or pleaded guilty to, any crime other than a minor traffic offence?
Have you ever been the subject of a finding of abuse, neglect or exploitation of a child or vulnerable adult?
Are you listed on any sex-offender registry?

7. Consent

Your details are used only to process this application and are seen only by the school office. We will not send marketing e-mails.

JazakAllah Khair for offering your time. The office will contact you and your references within a few days, in sha Allah, and invite you for a short visit to see the school.
