Programs › Qur'an Reading
From the first letter to the whole Mushaf — a structured journey in reading the Book of Allah with correct Tajweed.
وَرَتِّلِ الْقُرْآنَ تَرْتِيلًا
"And recite the Qur'an with measured recitation."
— Surah Al-Muzzammil (73:4)A Reading Journey, Not a Race
At Falah Academy, learning to read the Qur'an is the heart of every school day. Children begin with the Noorani Qaida — the letters, their sounds, and the rules of joining them — and move, step by step, toward reading the Qur'an fluently and beautifully. Our goal is not speed but correct, confident recitation with Tajweed, built on a foundation that lasts a lifetime, insha'Allah.
Every letter, its shapes, and its sound — mastered before moving on.
The rules of pronunciation taught from the very first lessons.
Joining letters into words, then words into flowing recitation.
A gentle, encouraging environment that builds a lasting bond with the Qur'an.
The Journey Ahead — Pre-K to Grade 4
As Falah grows one grade each year, here is the reading pathway a child follows — from their first Qaida lesson toward completing the recitation of the Qur'an. Each stage builds on the one before it.
How We Teach
A simple, proven method repeated daily until it becomes second nature.
The teacher recites; children hear correct pronunciation and Tajweed modeled clearly.
Children echo together and one by one, correcting sounds gently as they go.
Each child reads their lesson aloud to the teacher for individual feedback.
Daily review locks in what was learned before moving to the next lesson.
"The best among you are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it." — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Sahih al-Bukhari)
