Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2025

At Falah Academy, we are committed to protecting the privacy and safety of our students and families. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us through our enrollment and contact forms, including:

  • Student information: name, date of birth, gender, address, grade
  • Parent/guardian information: names, email addresses, phone numbers
  • Emergency contact information
  • Any special needs or accommodation requests

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process student enrollment applications
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding their child's education
  • Send school-related announcements and updates
  • Respond to your inquiries and requests

We Will Not Send Marketing Emails

Falah Academy will never send unsolicited marketing emails. Any communication from us will be directly related to your child's enrollment, education, or important school announcements.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to provide educational services. Your child's information will only be shared with teachers and staff on a need-to-know basis.

Data Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement appropriate measures to protect it from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

Children's Privacy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. All student information is collected with parental consent through our enrollment process and is used solely for educational purposes.

Family Portal

Falah Academy provides a password-protected Family Portal where parents of enrolled students can view their own child's attendance, class updates, assignments, Qur'an and academic progress, and fee records. Portal accounts are created by the school for enrolled families only; each family can access only records relating to their own children, enforced by database-level security. Portal data is stored with Supabase (a US-hosted database service) and attached teacher photos and documents are stored in the school's Google Drive. The school keeps encrypted backups of portal records. Parents may review their information in the portal at any time and may contact the school office to correct records or to request account closure when their children are no longer enrolled. Portal notification emails are sent through the Brevo email service solely for school communication — never marketing.
